A grocery store with fresh bread made by an Artisan baker every morning; a bar where you can have a drink with friends or a reception area to help and guide you : these are just a few of our services.

At Camping La Grande Veyière in Molières in the Dordogne, you will be our centre of attention and we will make every effort to guarantee you a pleasant stay.

The reception

Our reception desk is open every day from 8h to 12h and from 15h to 19h.

Here, we are at your service to answer all your questions, and respond to your comments or any concerns about your stay.

You will find a selection of brochures, guides and tourist maps that will help you to organise your walks and excursions.

Need a hand to make a reservation? Let us know! We put at your service our years of experience in terms of visits and hiking in the Dordogne. And we will be happy to advise you at the very least.

Wifi - internet access

In the area around the reception desk and bar, you can connect to our free WiFi system. If you don’t have a smartphone, tablet or laptop with you, we have a computer available at reception.

Please bear in mind that, being in the middle of the countryside and the lines being what they are, the connection is not always at peak performance. But do not panic, it’s enough to keep in touch with the world! And, sincerely, there are worse things than disconnecting a little during the holidays! What do you reckon? Consider it a “digital detox”!

The Library

At reception you will also find our library. Books can be freely borrowed. We just ask that you take care of them and bring them back after reading.

You’ll find a choice of books of all kinds, for adults and children, more or less recent, in French, English or Dutch.

The bar

All day, from 8h to 23h, you are welcome in our bar with its two large terraces (one covered). It is a meeting place and consumption is not compulsory.

We offer you a selection of sodas, juices and beers, as well as regional wines and aperitifs, not to mention coffee, tea, herbal teas and hot chocolate, of course. As we have a ‘license III’, we do not sell strong spirits (> 18 °).

And what better than a little ice cream to cool off in the summer? A wide selection of ice cream is on sale at the bar. Plus, once a week, the little melody of Colette’s van rings through the campsite. Colette will offer her 100% artisanal ice cream.

You don’t want to cook? No problem! Between 12h and 14h and 18h – 21h, you can order snacks to take away.

Finally, a pool table, table football and board games are at your disposal. The TV is in the room upstairs.

The barbecue

A barbecue area with terrace is available to you for your grilling.

Unless otherwise stated (for example, a period of severe drought), you may also use your barbecue on your site provided this is done with careful attention to fire safety.

Campfires are always forbidden.

The pizza truck

Every Sunday evening in July and August, you can order your homemade pizzas made by Nicole. She parks her pizza truck on our parking from 17h. Be sure to order in time!

The grocery store

We have a small grocery store where we offer a selection of basic products and regional specialties. Our products are often organic or ecological.

The grocery store is open from 8h to 12h and from 15h to 19h.

Every morning, from 8am, you can pick up your order of fresh bread. If you order your bread the day before by 7 pm.

Rental service

To allow you to travel more lightly, you can rent:

a high chair
a cot
towels
sheets.

Do not forget to order these when booking, if required.

Sanitary

You will find a large toilet block consisting of toilets, showers, sinks and a family bathroom as well as a baby bath and a shower cabin adapted for people with reduced mobility. Hot water is on tap as required, of course. A hairdryer is also at your disposal.

For children, we have a small toilet and a sink at their height. Obviously, young children must be accompanied by parents when they visit the bathroom.

Sinks for washing dishes and laundry bins are available, as well as a washing machine. The latter works with tokens that can be purchased at the grocery store.

In the kitchen for campers you’ll find a microwave and a freezer for your ice packs.

Our toilets are cleaned every morning and checked a second time in the afternoon during the high season. It goes without saying that we ask all our campers to ensure that everything is left clean and in good condition after use. Respect for other campers is paramount.
