A holiday where you can rest and relax, all while enjoying friendly moments with family, friends or your campsite neighbours. This is what you will find camping at La Grande Veyière in Molières in the Dordogne.

Looking for a campsite in the Dordogne with a swimming pool and games for your children? Want to spend your holidays in a quiet place with some activities but without noisy entertainment from morning to night? Need to rest and relax? Look no further, you have found it!

No summer vacation without bathing!

Our swimming pool of 150 m² has been converted into a lagoon shape and is gently sloping. It’s the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day in the Dordogne.

Due to its shape, one side of the pool is particularly suitable for the little ones. They can swim and have fun all afternoon by the pool with their little buckets and watering cans. The older ones will appreciate the deeper part of the pool where they can swim and play with friends. And for athletes, think of your well being and enjoy the calm of the morning to do a few lengths.
The pool is reserved for residents on the campsite and is accessible free from 9h to 21h.
It goes without saying that the youngest children must always remain under the close supervision of their parents.

And to vary the pleasures of swimming, why not, from time to time, put your jerseys, towels and picnic basket in the car to discover one of the lovely beaches at the edge of the Dordogne river. We will gladly tell you about our favourite beach!

A campsite for the little ones ...

Children can have fun in the playground. A structure of 2 covered towers with a sloping net bridge, a toboggan, a sloping plane (climbing wall type) and a climbing net is at their disposal for free. There is also a seesaw, a gantry with 2 swings, a sandbox and, for the little ones, two bouncy sprung games.

The woods around the campsite will allow them to give free rein to their fantasies playing Robin Hood, Knights of the Périgord or, why not?, by building a cabin. And dad or mum will never be far away to make sure everything goes well!

... and for adults!

The multisports field allows you to play volleyball or badminton. And, of course, no camping holiday is complete without a game of petanque! What better than a good old boules game to meet other campers in a light hearted ambience ?
Two ping-pong tables are also available.

Our bar, open from 8h to 23h, is a meeting place where consumption is not required. To share a good time, you can play pool, have a game of table football or have fun with board games. A TV area is at your disposal in the room upstairs. And, to keep in touch with the world, the Wifi connection is free.

You will find a choice of guides and tourist maps at the reception to help you organize your excursions. Hikers or mountain bikers can access several routes directly from the campsite.

Our activities

During your stay, we will suggest some activities which we deliberately limit in number. The area is so beautiful and there is so much to see that you will not need us to fill your days!

In the period between mid-July and mid-August, we organize a creative workshop, a guided tour of the village or a sports activity two or three times a week

Once a week (most often on a Thursday), we offer a themed evening. Our meals (like paella or ham on the bone) are a unique opportunity for you to share the table with other campers of all nationalities and our musical evenings are a chance to spend some cordial time with musicians from the region. Styles vary from pop and rock to country and blues to some jazz influences. Do not hesitate to take a little dance step, we are here to have fun!

Relax and rest to recharge your batteries!

Do you know a camper’s worst nightmare? Spending your holidays in a campsite where, all night, the noise of the neighbours prevents you from sleeping and resting!

Being former campers ourselves, we particularly respect the silence between 23h and 8h. Obviously, we understand that this is not always easy: the little ones wake up sometimes early in the morning .And you don’t always see time passing by on a nice evening over a little drink. But sincerely, here with us, everyone does their best to respect the rest and tranquility of others. Even teenagers!

Outside school holidays, our campsite is a haven of peace where you will only hear the birds singing. You will not even notice the sound of cars far away! *

During the school holidays, you will find many families with children of all ages. During the day, especially at the beginning of the evening when everyone comes back from visits, a nice lively atmosphere prevails here.
